I have to be realistic: arguing favorites among each other is pointless, because we all like what we like… looks are subjective, after all. Plus, in my opinion choosing favorites from this crop of fine-ass chicas is gonna be a bit like splitting hairs, no matter how you look at it. Ok, so I realize now that the models on the list were chosen based on the number of clicks they got on the website. Basing the list on the number of clicks ain’t the best way to go, Jack. If that’s the case, that skateboarding dog from YouTube should be added to the list, ‘cuz we know little dude got plenty clicks in 2009! Some of these chics are not so nice in the face and their butts are so big they look like circus oddities, which explains why they probably got so many clicks – the shock factor (“Is that real?”) as opposed to overall beauty. For the next top vixen list, I hope the list includes only those models who were, say, hot enough to score magazine covers on the top men’s magazines. I think that would help narrow the list down and weed out a lot of the riff-raff. Just a thought . . .

These lists are difficult to do. I give BlakkJakk credit for coming up with a valid criteria for selecting the models. As Smack noted, no poll is going to leave everyone happy.
With that said, the most notable omission from this list is Dollicia, but then again, I don’t think she was in a single magazine in 2009.
I personally believe Rosa is overrated. I don’t know if her ass is fake, but she never ever moved me. She just seems like a nice looking girl who has worked with very good photographers. But I can’t knock her hustle – she is working her 15 minutes.
It’s hard to put your finger on what the “it” factor is, but I know it when I see it. Melyssa Ford, Summer Walker, Maliah Michel, Bria Myles, Dollicia Byran, Esther Bax – all those chicks have it factor. They make you wanna look and the proof of that is their respective track records.
How you described Rosa is how I feel about Dollicia. But yes, she wasn’t on the list for two reasons, not enough traffic and no new images in 2009. If she had the clicks I would have given her the nod but she wasn’t even in the running.
Dollicia and Rosa to me are the inverse of each other. Rosa drives traffic and has the hype but does not seem to have the loyal following (see comments, etc). Dollicia on the other hand gets all kinds of krazy praise but every time her photos hit a mag, everyone is disappointed with the photos but her fans are always quick to defend her (her Show set being the exception because it was on point). Her posts never drove big traffic but Rosa always does no matter what ends up in the comments.
If you could merge the two, they’d be unstoppable.
Very good point. Dollicia photo shoots have, for the most part, been a disappointment. Whatever it was that caught people’s eye in that Joe vid she did in ‘07, she failed to recapture in her photos. Too much retouching, bad styling (KING), bad posing – you name it. But… and this is important: Dollicia is a stand out. Her facial features, eyes, overall look – she stands apart. But you’re right that she has never garnered a significant fan base on the net. I would mention her on mssg boards and ppl didn’t even know who she was!
Rosa on the other hand is the champ by forfeiture. She’s the best of the worse (e.g., the current crop of eye candy models). She seems to be very political and responsive to her fan base. That in and of itself is more than most models can muster, lol.
While I would never put Rosa in the same category as Angel Lola Luv, I do believe that – unlike Melyssa, Bria, Maliah – ppl will look back on Rosa 3 years from now and wonder what all the hype was about. History dictates who the winners are in that respect. People are still marveling at Melyssa Ford and Esther pics, all these years later.
Comparing Dollicia Bryan to Rosa Acosta is like comparing Vanessa Williams to Superhead. Dollicia is the ideal wife and Rosa is… well you know the one you throw your condom off in the back of the motel dumpster after you got your nut off before seeing your main girl. Now compare Rosa to a stripper or porn star on who has the best videos on worldstar and then we can talk.
