Slade I think alot of that has to do with a saturation of Angel while Dollicia has not gotten as much press. I was surprised that Jesikah Maximus is still getting as many hits, it has been over a month now since that Show spread.
I’m not surprised Dollicia is over Angel. Angel’s sexy but we all know its some thanks to her surgeon. Dollicia is natural and natural beauty will ALWAYS prevail. In fact Dollicia should have been number 1. I think Jesika Maximus has some workers ante up the clicks on her pics because she’s average in the face not on Angel or Dollicia’s level in that field.

Ya, I can’t figure out the whole Jesikah thing. She got some curves but the Google hits for her off the chain. I am in the top five all three but today, Google hit Jesikah 275, Angel 65 and Dollicia 49. Jesikah hits 300-400+ a lot. Angel used to hit 200+ but Jesikah never dips below 200.
I think as the word gets out on Dollicia, she will continue to climb.

I knew this month was going to be interesting being that Angel and Dollicia are my favorites. Angel’s already out there so I would really like to see Dollicia take over ‘08 since Angel had ‘07 on lock. Now as for Jesika Maximus I’m not understanding the hoopla with her. I think she’s in that Coco bracket where if you look white with black features (phat butt, heavy chest) your automatically number 1. Just like Coco was ranked number 1 in Smooth Magazines Dec. ‘07 issue. That’s the only explanation for that cause face wise she is very average to me. But you should add Rihanna, Lanisha Cole, Tomika Skanes, Brittany Dailey, Sophia Marie, Suelyn, Zenobria, and Ksyn. And more of Esther Baxter, KD Aubert, Jessica White, and Jeri J.
p.s. Since ass shots generate the most clicks I think you should do a post solely on that showcasing buffie the body, bria myles, and cherokee d’ass. They are all in the same bracket as for phat ass modeling. Something so the “strictly ass forget the girls face” lovers can enjoy!
I think that the reason Jesikah Maximus is getting alot of play is because she is not built like the typical white model, so there she is unique, therefore all the interest. Plus there may be something about her not being devasatingly beautiful, her looks facially probably make alot of men think of someone they know or have dated. So you have the familiarity and the distinction with the body, makes for a strong attraction. Oh and Redz the black features = heavy chest, that can’t be claimed only by black women, you see ladies with large chests in all races, the bit butt is another thing, lol.
Too bad Bria Myles doesn’t have a current magazine spread because I think she’s not in the top 10 due to not being on the homepage with anything. If you look at her Alexa ranking, this girl is clearly still very popular, with a higher ranking than Summer Walker and Melyssa Ford.
In fact, her website ranks within the top 1% of all websites worldwide.
This is really going to be left field when I ask for this girl but when ya’ll see the Usher “Love In This Club” video you will see what I mean. But add Keri Hilson to the list. I hope King does something on her very soon if they can have freakin LaLa and Rocsi on their covers they can definitely add the beautiful Keri Hilson. She is so freakin sexy.
Oh yea and I just talked to Dollicia and she will be on another big name magazine cover very soon. No its not BlackMen or Smooth bigger than both. I have had some interaction with Dollicia. Afraid to say it hasn’t been pleasant. I know for a fact that she’s already rubbed one magazine editor the wrong way, resulting in a lost cover–you *should* know who I’m talking about Redz. I also know the behind-the-scenes on the Smooth cover that was in the works.
Dollicia has the potential to be no. 1 this year, but I doubt she will cinch that spot.

Kale, Dollicia was on the cover of Show Mag “The Art Of Sexy”. One of the best selling issues to date. Go check out the other posts and read up on her bio. And to my knowledge she turned down Sandy and them twice for reasons i’m not discussing on this board. To be honest Sandy and Smooth are straight BITCHES to deal with business wise. I’m gonna keep discussion this on the level, because despite our occasional on board bickering, you seem like a cool cat who is making moves in the game.
Let me first address Dollicia. You got me. I forgot about Show. But c’mon, one magazine cover in a year (and the one with the smallest circulation) is nothing to brag about. Bria was on the cover of King and BlackMen her first year out, in addition to being in Smooth, Show, and XXL.
But I digress. I’m not taking anything away from Doll lookswise. Nor will I get into the details of that Smooth fiasco on this board. All I’m saying is, I’ve talked to a number of industry insiders who have made mention of attitude problems with her. As you know, a lot the men in this business can be catty too, so it remains to be seen whether Doll is the problem or they are. All I can attest to is my personal experience with her, and it was not the greatest.
As for me being a Doll hater, not true at all. I was one of the first people to bring to her to popular mssg boards, way before Show dropped. I continue to post her too because she’s one of the best in the game right now. I never let personal animus get in the way of giving credit where it’s due. Can you say the same? Have you been as even handed with Bria? I seem to recall BlackJack having to check you in that regard at one point.
Re: Smooth’s Jamaica issue, we are in complete agreement there. Sandy really should not be picking the models for that magazine. I also agree that in business dealings they are sub par.
Finally, Bria. Speak on what you know there. As far as magazines King, Complex, XXL, and Show are the only ones I subscribe to. After those trina covers blackmen and smooth did they make me want to start my own mag and put their shyts to bed. Sean Cummings is a cool and smart business man I respect dudes hustle and he’s not scared to put beautiful women on his covers, he doesn’t care about all the glitz and glam. While I’m not a fan of his plain backgrounds I can’t deny the girls in his mag are pretty nonetheless. In Show Magazine if you pretty you get a cover point blank period. None of this “knee pads who gives the best head in the oval offices gets a cover” mess that Smooth and BlackMen use on their girls. As for Dollicia, yeah, she’s coming with the class and I like that. What rubbed me the wrong way with her is that she doesn’t seem to meaningfully evaluate offers presented to her. She doesn’t ask key questions, take time to seriously consider, or even know what’s important. She’s appears to be all about the name dropping. For instance, if you say “I’m working with Maxim” she returns your call. But even those people she brushes off sometimes, lol. I think she needs someone smart to siphon through her solicitors, so she can make the most of her 15 minutes.
