True Shyt homie I’m an ’87’s baby, but as you say, “opinions are like assholes everyone has one”. That shyt is priceless LOL I stole that. But yea let me quote you for a second where you said about Angel “Are they hosting any TV shows? Are they getting any real movie roles?”

I’m glad you said that, actually Angel does have a reality tv show coming very soon. For dudes that want to possibly be put on, some of the taping will be on the 4th at Plumm Nightclub. Its suppose to be either a “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” or female version Flavor of Love themed show I’m not exactly sure so don’t hold me to that, but I know she is getting her own reality tv show FOR SURE. And besides the Wendy Williams biopic she will be starring LEAD in the movie “Crazy Like a Fox” as well as just being crown ’07’s XXL eye candy not ONCE but TWICE never been done by ANY other vixen. So yes she is beating the norm for video vixens that goes without speaking. Obviously for her to do all that she’s got to have something that stands out from the rest of the vixens. I’m just speaking true shyt homie not opinion. But actually to be honest Melyssa isn’t my top 3. She and Angel have just had the most success. My favorite vixen believe it or not is KD Aubert, then Angel, Esther, Vida and then Melyssa.

And I wasn’t knocking Sandra I said she’s aight my uncle, old heads, and grandfathers could probably appreciate her more than I, but for that reason of audience she attracts they put her in the Smooth Mag lets be real, no hate, smart move actually I think she did her thing for the old heads to enjoy! She’s cute in an “oh son your mom is sexy” type of way I don’t see that as an insult it is what it is, same with that other girl Noemie.

Now as for Jenelle I didn’t say she not booking gigs. I know obese people booking Jenny Craig and people with really bad acne booking proactiv. But TO ME vixen wise she not messin with Angel, Esther, or Vida all have had covers in King, BlackMen and Smooth, and if you want to take it fashion modeling wise she not messin with Denise Vasi, Eva Pigford, or Chanel Iman each one of them have had big spreads or covers in Vogue or Cosmo. To me Jenelle is not Cover material of any popular magazine (urban or fashion). She reminds me of this other chick from BK in the game name Rosie Marie who is skinny enough to do high fashion, but not pretty enough or tall enough to do glamour or runway. And in the vixen circuit she’s not thick enough to compete AT ALL. But hey if Jenelle’s bringin in gaup more power to ya. But I just see the most success out of all your girls coming from Sasha, she has that potential to be the next IT girl next to Suelyn, Sally, Sophia Maria, Brittany Dailey, and Jessika Maximus. I’d like to see these 4 other chicks you say look better than Suelyn and Sophia Marie though. And I know some nice looking girls that aren’t even out yet that are tryin to get in the game but don’t know where to start or who to start with. So get at me and I’ll email you their pics.

Lastly, since I throughly went back and checked the SmoothGirl Latina Issue I can really really speak on it. Sally was the best one in that issue to me HANDS DOWN. See this is why I can’t subscribe to SmoothGirl hard cause Nikki should not have gotten that cover (just as Deelishus should not have gotten that cover over Angel) she was not even in the top three it should have gone Sally on the cover and Mariela second and Paola third. At least Marcus over at BlackMen knows who to put on his covers. It’s sad but I truely think the race for who has the biggest ases gets covers in Smooth these days, face just doesn’t even matter no more. SMH I can find a prettier faced girl uptown in BX or Spanish Harlem on the block that looks better in the face than Nikki B. TRUE STORY!

I appreciate your opinion…and that’s what it is…YOUR OPINION.
It’s not the etched-in-stone gospel bro…it’s great that everyone has their favorite models that they like.
For you, i’m glad that you have your favorites on a pedestal (mainly Angel, Melyssa Ford,etc.)…doesn’t mean they are the exceptions to the rule…everybody’s tatse in women is different.
I know alot of folks who ain’t crazy about Melyssa or Angel, especially since she’s had mostly everything done surgically (i’ve known Angel/Lola/Fershgenet way before surgery)…but that’s their opinion.
I manage & consult MODELS…all kinds of models…not just the ones who appear in these magazines.
If you don’t like Sandra, Jenelle or Nikki B’s look or any other model, that’s cool…and I respect that.
The bottom line is the staff at SMOOTH liked their look and shot them for SMOOTHgirl…if they didn’t like Sandra’s look & body, they wouldn’t have put her in SMOOTHgirl or made her the Rear View pic in the Holiday Issue of SMOOTH (even though I do wish that pic was done a little lighter in photoshop)…and they wouldn’t have chosen Nikki B to be on the cover (even though she was the 3rd choice)
The Latina issue has been out 2 weeks across the country and is doing very well…selling out very quickly in most cities.
(Remember…Latinas are the #1 Ethnicity in the US…Black folks ain’t # 1 anymore & haven’t been for a long time…Latinas support their own)
Magazines like SMOOTH, KING, BLACK MEN, SHOW, XXL…they cater to a core age demographic of roughly 18-35, mostly black & latin men.
I don’t know your business accumen, but if you want to sell those types of magazines, you have to please EVERYBODY in those demographics with the kind of models you feature.
Yes, Sandra is older than Angel (Sandra around 30, Angel is around 22)…but so what?
Some guys like a model with a shape & ass like Angel, others like a tall, mature model with a shape & ass like Sandra.
Since Sandra is not your cup of tea or has a more mature look than you like, that’s fine…but if you saw her in person wearing jeans, your opinion would be alot different…trust me.
Then again, maybe not…because we all have our own taste in women….and that’s cool.
Remember, every model has taken a bad picture or the chemistry between model doesn’t always work…it happens.
Buffie is almost damn near 40…but she had appeal & an audience…that’s why the magazines she was in did well.
I don’t know how old you are…i’m gonna take a guess and say in your early-mid twenties…so I can see that a model like Angel is gonna be your favorite…but Joe in Florida, John in Detroit or Kevin in Cali might like Sandra’s look more than Angel’s or another model…that’s their taste in women.

In regards to Jenelle, I respect your opinion…by your taste in women, I can tell you’re just a face & phat ass model lover (and that’s cool). Jenelle is an all around MODEL,a very pretty, popular & experienced urban model in NYC who has done her share of major events, fashion shows & magazines like SMOOTHgirl…depending on the job, she has different looks…that’s what REAL models do bro.
From her resume alone, Jenelle has done more magazine/print/TV/Film/Major Fashion Show work than all of the models in the Latina Issue and Angel COMBINED (i’ll send it to you one day).
The headshot pics you have of Jenelle are from fashion modeling gigs…HELLO REDZ…SHE’S A MODEL!
At the end of the day, that is my only concern….my models work, they get paid…I get paid.
I read comments on blogs all the time from guys like yourself who talk about their favorite models and kill the way other models look.
Not to take anything away from Angel (I like Angel alot..we’re friends…i’ve known her since her first magazine shoot for i.b.Concept magazine sveral years ago), but after the multiple BLACK MEN, KING, SMOOTH, XXL magazine spreads & music videos and a small role in the upcoming Wendy Williams Movie….what has she really done as a model? And what is this level that you put her & Melyssa on? Are they both knocking Hollywood’s doors down getting real gigs? Are they being featured in Maxim, Playboy or other major magazines? Are they hosting any TV shows? Are they getting any real movie roles? I know you love Angel & Melyssa (I met her when she first came to NYC years ago from Toronto and was bartending in clubs when she first shot with BLACK MENS), but let’s relax on the over-excitement bro…lol
I like the way a sexy model with crazy body and a phat ass looks just like every other other dude…but I look at everything before I kill a model’s look in a blog like you do on occasion.
For me, it’s the modeling BUSINESS…if a magazine publisher, TV/Film/Music Video casting director, commercial or fashion show booker wants to hire my models because they like their look and the price is right…then i’m doing my job being their manager…that’s all that matters.
All I know is that SMOOTH ain’t complaining about Sandra, Jenelle or any of the other models in the Latina Issue…that Issue always does & is doing well and selling out and at the end of the day, that’s all that matters for SMOOTH or any magazine.
The only thing that matters for me is my phone hasn’t stopped ringing for work for Sandra & Jenelle since the Latina Issue has come out…and that’s the only thing that matters to me as a model manager/agent.
I think Suelyn is hot…she’s been around & has done alot of urban magazine and music video work. Sophia Marie is new & hot too (I see you used a pic of her from the always over-photoshopped photographer Ryan Nash collection…lol), but I can see that those are some of YOUR favorite latina models, but they are not everyone elses.
I know at least 4 other latina models who didn’t shoot for the Latina Issue that would blow both of them away in looks, body, expressions, etc.
Being in the music/radio/tv/fashion/entertainment industry in NYC for over 20 years, i’ve seen lots of sexy models with crazy bodies come & go too…mainly because they don’t have a clue on how to make it in the modeling business and just want to get by on their looks & phat ass…it don’t work that way.
Redz…1208Models is not just Sasha…all of my models are the main priority. My models get lots of work, with no complaints from clients…TRUST ME.
At the end of the day, that’s all that matters to me.
FYI…Mariela is okay in the Latina Issue but she can’t compare to my girl Sally, who is a hot model with a great look & body…but, that is my opinion…

So I just finished my research on these ladies all being spoken on. And to be honest, JayDee put your money on Sasha cause them other girls I saw naw brah they NOT what’s poppin. I mean older guys will like Sandra but she looks like someones housewife or mom that models on the side, to me especially in that Smooth Girl pic with the typewriter (look below to see what I’m talking about) she’s aight though. But Jenelle Simone…. I’mma be nice and leave that one alone LMAO. But she definitely is not IT on ANY accounts. As for Nikki the chick has body but weak facially she will NEVER be on Angel or Melyssa Ford’s level EVER! Her face is not strong enough and with her attitude (if that is indeed true) she will get tricked and become a skeet skeet all around, and then thrown to the wolves. Trust me I’ve seen it happen so many times. Still the baddest Latina chicks I’ve seen aside from the obvious Vida Guerra are Sophia Marie and Suelyn. Black just my take on it if you gonna post the Latina women go hard for the top of the line ones like Suelyn and Sophia Marie check them out then check out who JayDee was talking about and tell me what ya’ll think. I’m not saying, just saying the pictures speak for themselves no hate though just true shyt!
