Anyone that keeps up with me knows Angel aka Lola Luv is at the top of my eye candy list. So when I saw the low quality skanz of Hustlenomics #3, I order the magazine unseen. Got it in my hands now. So why I am witting about it not skanning it? Because the photorgraphy and particularly the retouch or “Photoshop” work is some of the worst I have ever seen in a magazine. But if it was just that, I would have just thrown it in the trash and moved on like I have done others disappointments. But I came across this quote on the homepage over another skanner.
This magazines a relative new comer to the game and if the first couple of spreads are predictions of what’s to come, then they are going to be here to stay. They have some of the best photography that we have seen in a long time. Sorry Blackmen, King and Smooth, but these cats know a little something about making a man drool.
I read that and thought, “You have gotta to be fuck’n kidding!” To compare this to the work of Howard Huang, Keith Major, Charlie Langella, etc is would require a person to be one of the following:
So hear it straight from someone that works with these magazines from 100%-700% zoom, Hustlenomics is not even in the running. I hope they get better. Its a crime to see Angel doing her thing and to have it be a waste of time. If you have ever seen the first issue of Smooth you know a magazine can get better, fast. They probably don’t have enough bank to high a serious photographer but if there is one thing they can do to get themselves back in the game…GET A PROFESSIONAL RETOUCH ARTIST. Hiring your friend that just learned how to airbrush in Photoshop is not a way to keep selling magazines.

I’ve seen the pictures and she looks amazing. One of the few women in the industry that’s ridiculously gorgeous.
