You voted and Bria Myles is the Top Vixen of 2009. The big surprise was Sweet Suleika, a fresh face, powering her way #5. I also thinking you all are crazy for voting Suelyn so far down on the list.
So to all the Top Vixens of 2009, we wish you all well and hope you get those roles, hosting gigs, and magazine covers in 2010.

What has Vanessa Veasley been up to since she left her editor role at Show Magazine? A lot, but one is she has joined The Candy Shop blogtalk radio show. Whether you add their show to your iTunes or not, everyone that is a fan of this site should listen to this episode about Photoshop and Urban Modeling. Vanessa Veasley and Brooke Bailey give it straight, but what takes it over the edge is about halfway when Nick Saglimbeni joins the conversation. (more…)

Hitting you with Vanessa Veasley from the first Show Magazine. This was so early in the Show game that it’s pre Nick and Slickforce. Mark Mann is behind the camera. In the story Sean describes Vanessa as…
Vanessa is so damn fine that you are absolutely certain that every woman in her immediate family is gorgeous as well. She’s that type of hot.
That was as true then as it is now. Except now, Vanessa is not just in front of the camera but also the editor of the magazine. Which makes her hottest editor in the magazine business.
If you missed my prior posts on Vanessa checkout: Roller Girl, Maximum Heat, Independent, Glamorous and The Hour Glass.

Vanessa Veasley hits the pages of Lowrider Girls Magazine with a feature and some of her best pics yet. You don’t often see Black girls hitting the pages of LRG but Vanessa proves it’s something they should do more often.
You can keep up with Vanessa on her Twitter, drop her a line at her MySpace or for everything Vanessa go to VanessaVeasley.com.
Next up from the same issue is the cover and feature with Sweetie Cyanide.
The clicks have been counted. You voted, 3 months passed and Cubana Lust just ain’t giving up any ground, still holding on to the #1 spot. That girl just shook that thing to the top and just ain’t gonna stop. Vanessa Veasley, Lore Dore aka Sweetie Poison, and Jesikah Maximus fill out the Top 4. You gotta hand it to SHOW magazine there stuff just consistently pops.
Checkout the list, did your girl make it? Which honey is your pick? Anyone missing that should have been on the list? Requests?

You’ve seen Vanessa Veasely as the video vixen in Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop”, The Game and Kanye West’s “Wouldn’t Get Far” and Mike Jones’s feat. Hurricane Chris “Drop and Give Me 50″ (more music video credits checkout Video Vixen Vanessa Veasley – The Hourglass).
Vanessa is featured along with Sweetie in a double cover premerie issue of SHOWCase a new special feature magazine by Show. Both sides of this issue are packed with dozens of on point shots. I picked a dozen good ones but could have picked another dozen.
Vanessa’s confidence really shines in this issue and on the subject, Vanessa says…
…Sexy comes from the inside…That’s something you have to deal with really quickly if you want to shoot with SHOW because the focus is on you. There no rappers to hide behind, no other models in your shot to vibe off of, and no fancy props to keep your hands busy. You have to make the connection with your eyes. If you aren’t in love with yourself, you’re going to fall flat on your face.
Vanessa definitely connected with the camera and took it to another level with this shoot.
