When I first saw the previews of Nilanti on the cover of the next Show issue and the candids from the Show magazine release party posted in the CutieCenteral forums, I knew she was getting front loaded. Anyone that is a fan of this blog knows my focus is celebrating black beauty but you when it comes to my tastes in honeys, I am the U.N. So I mix it up little when a dyme strikes me and Nilianti has got that show stopper quality.
Video vixen Nilanti Narain is one busy honey. She has been in modeling and commercials since she was 16 working for Target, Capital One, Double Mint, Mark Ecko and others. Nilanti‘s been in print in Elle, Exotic and in Show twice. She runs RAIN Entertainment is a successful LA based promotion company that has worked with everyone from the Pussycat Dolls to Jazzy B. And she’s been the vixen in music videos with Kayne West, 112, Akon and Snoop Dogg.
On being the first Indian vixen to hit the cover of Show, Nilanti says…
It feels good to be the first model of Indian descent on the cover of Show. It’s ground breaking for an Indian to be on the cover of any magazine in the US that is not based around Indian culture. And it’s extra special because it’s the Exotic issue. I’ve always been very proud of my looks, even if they are different from what you normally see on the covers of publications.
You can read up on Nilanti in an interview she did with Pulp Magazine. The interviewer gets a little word drunk and try’s to hard to prove he went to college but its all good.
