XXL released their Eye Candy of The Year and they called it a tie between video vixens Rosa Acosta and Tammy Torres. Not to have a Kanye West moment …Tammy Torres is hot and all, but come on, Rosa Acosta has been killing the competition this year like no one else. Let me be clear, I am not judging who is hotter, I am just saying that the hype has been all about Rosa this year.
I am not sure what metric they were using for this title (I’d hope it would be magazine sales) but whatever it is, it runs in the face of where the heat really is. Let’s grab some easy numbers to compare: As I’m writing this, Rosa Acosta has 30,654 followers on Twitter and Tammy Torres has 11,562. On MySpace, Rosa has 18,449 friends and Tammy Torres has 7,035.
Let’s face it, Rosa’s stretching video got the buzz going like crazy. Things may change in 2010 but as far as who people are talking about, searching for and clicking on, it’s Rosa by a mile.

MMMM.. Tammy and Rosa are pretty girls but in certain pictures they look a little masculine to me.They definately should of smiled in this picture or something..the hard look isnt working in this one..I hear praise about Rosa…but she isnt overly attractive (if at all) but she seems to have this swag lots of people like..even me…..Just my opinion.

I think this was a smart move by XXL. Do I personally like Tammy or Rosa’s look?…. NO! but Tammy had the biggest hip hop cameos in videos this year with Ms. Officer, Money To Blow, Transformer etc… that’s what XXL goes by. XXL probably knew neither of these girls were hot enough to hold their own crown as XXL Eye Candy Of The Year, like Dollicia and Angel were previously so they gave it to both. Had Amber Rose “Robocop” video been released neither one of them would have won. But congrats to them and I think this was a very good move by XXL.
I think that Rosa Acosta is better looking overall, Tammy Torres jus’ has a bigger butt(jus’ my opinion). PEACE!!!

Both of these girls are way sexy.. the last pic is my fave.. Rosa looks like she’s gonna throw that pillow hard..love those pink shorts. And I love Tammy’s outfit on her single pic.. I love the thermal shirt.. something a girlfriend would wear.

Love the 1st 2 a lot! Especially that 2nd 1 of Rosa solo! She look way to good in that pink & purple! The purple stockings are real sexy & look like something a girlfriend would wear! Rosa should have won though & this set could have been way better to! XXL was just being very cheap!

Rosa looks very apple-shaped to me, especially in that pillow fighting shot (more top-heavy than bottom-heavy. No good). Tammy has a really pretty face and an ass. So I’m thinking they should’ve just given it to Tammy Torres – no competition, no tie.
