Dropping some Raquel’s pics and she takes some time to answer some of my questions.

How is 2010 treating you?
It’s been going real well so far. I have been featured in another music video, been booked for 4 major magazines and might be a spokes model for a new Bra line which I am really excited about. 
What’s your favorite kicks in your vintage sneaker collection?
Tough question but I love my Original XI, Penny’s, Cement 3′s, Olive 9s and some Jewel Air Force 1′s (from the 90s)
What’s on your iPod?
I got a little something something sitting in my iPod that I enjoy. I have some Big L, Sade, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Wayne, Biggie, Maxwell and some Joel Ortiz-
Your are trained fighter, what style?
Krav Maga which is a contact combat that was derived from street fighting. I started in boxing at age 12 but worked my way up to a more difficult style like Krav Maga which may be known as a mix martial art.
Got a favorite MMA fighter? What’s better the striking or the ground game?
For a female fighter I would say Megumi Fujii and Kimbo Slice because he is rough. Striking is better for me because I am quick with my hands but ground game can also be great for the one on top.
Italian is your favorite food, what dishes?
Lasagna with extra tomato sauce.
Being only 20, got any big plans for your 21 Bday?
March 1st to be exact. I do not have any plans though for that day because it falls on a Monday but I do plan to go to Vegas. I don’t drink though and I get into the clubs anyways;so its not a big deal
Any last words?

I always liked Raquel Reign. I hope she does more work and more artistic shots. I get tired of seeing the same ol’ booty pose and stuff like that. Get creative and do something in a forest and you’re an amazon warrior and you have a spear and throwing it at the camera. The spear would be a little blurred and the focus is on the model but the background is still in pretty good focus but not as much as the model. That would be HOTT!!! The model can still be wearing the clothing that all men like but the photo would have more substance than just here’s my big and round ass. Now don’t get me wrong… A nice booty shot is cool every once in a while, just not all the time. Just my opinion. Out of these shots I like #4. The lighting is raw on that photo. Good job Black on the scans.
I am all for more outdoor photos in the mags and throwing in a crazy theme once in a while is fine by me.
The studio shots all start to get stale after a while and many of these females would really shine in more unique settings. I suppose the cost of the shoot increases significantly when it is moved out of the studio which the publishers see as a negative. Also, from a photographic standpoint it becomes much more challenging for the photographer to have the control over lighting that is afforded by a studio shot….with all that said though I would still love to see more outdoor shoots.
So let me get this straight… They’re afraid of hard work??? I know lights and stuff are expensive but that shouldn’t stop you from doing hard work. It should excite you, make you think out of the box and better your craft. If they’re worried about lighting the sun is the biggest and strongest light there is. Just work with it, not against it. I think if the shots had harder work into them and and dazzled you people wouldn’t mind so much on buying these overly priced magazines and you would attract more people.
So far, outdoor shoots seem to really remain out of reach for the urban market. They just don’t do it well.
That sucks. Then get more creative with your indoor game I say. Step outside the box.
With the exception of the SHOWCase and Show Paradise issues which have great outdoor shots.
Am I wrong or doesn’t an outdoor shot cost more to do?
It does suck – but hard work means longer work and more expensive work – which usually means less money in the long run. I’m guessing magazines don’t always give photographers a whole lot of time, plus when all the crew, model(s) and equipment involved are charging by the hour or day, hard work means spending more money and time on a shoot that may all be worthless if you miss the editors deadline.
I’m not defending them, but i see how it may not always be just down to the photographer.
Hmmmm… I didn’t think about that. You can still do an outdoor shot for pretty cheap if you plan your shots to the T. You have to capture a photo not do a photo shoot. Time is a huge factor if the deadline is short.

Well after seeing a little more bout her i would say that she’s allot better looking than what i said before. She’s not a ten by any mean but she’s a very nice looking person. In her myspace page she’s listed as HEIGHT: 5’1 | WEIGHT: 140 LBS I’m sorry but that’s way 2 much waith for a woman of such small statue. If she go and loose 10 or 12 pounds shell still be a big girl and will still have a hot body.
That depends on how the weight is lost. Sometimes when you loose weight it just sags or can make other features of you stand out that’s not so appealing. Personally I like the extra weight on her. I’m sure 5’1″ 130 lbs looks good but she fine just the way she is. Oh and the magazine says she’s 5’4″ so there is mixed messages on that.
Are you just making up shit to complain about? Get real. First off weight alone don’t mean a thing. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if girl has got some nice curves and some muscle she is going to weigh more and still be trimmer than your 120-130 girl.
