Kenya Moore model, actress, entrepreneur, producer, and of course former Miss America, was kind enough to share some words with me and entertain my questions.

What’s the pageant circuit really like? Do you ever miss it?
Ha! Loaded question. It’s very interesting and for the most part very fun. On the national level i.e. At Miss USA it was extremely competitive. But I had the most fun and most memorable experiences at the Miss Universe pageant. I was best friends with Miss India who also made it to be a finalist. I remember that she was gorgeous and so obsessed with Kevin Costner. It was the best time of my life.
You’ve been on so many different television shows! What’s your most favorite show you’ve worked on thus far and what made it a great experience?
Wow that is tough to say. I had a lot of fun doing Martin and people always remember me being “Mrs. Bozack”. It wasn’t until later that someone told me that was a play on words. So the writers had a lot of fun with our show. Martin was great. I also thought Will Smith was a sweetheart. The Fresh Prince was a very good experience. Honestly, I can’t think of any bad experiences while working on TV.
Can you tell us about the Kenya Moore Foundation?
We award scholarships to troubles girls from my high school alma mater. I love Detroit and I identify with girls who struggle during high school and pull themselves up and strive to be the best person they can be despite their circumstances.
I read you like bungee jumping. What was your first jump like? Would you consider yourself a bit of an adrenaline junkie?
I actually have not jumped yet! No, I’m not an adrenaline junkie. I just like to do different things. I’m actually terrified of heights but I fight past my fear.
I read on IMDB that your film, “The Confidant” is completed, and it’s the first production under your company’s banner. Can you tell us a little bit about it?
It stars Boris Kodjoe, David Banner, Billy Zane, Richard Roundtree, Bai Ling and myself and is written and directed by Alton Glass. It opens August 24, 2010. I’m very proud of this film and the work the actors put in to make it successful. It’s a thriller and you don’t see many predominately black cast movies that are thrillers, but my director did and amazing job with the script and it’s really good.
What’s a typical day in your life like?
LOL! All I can say is I would be filthy rich if I had a reality show. No one would guess what I’m really like or the daily drama that occurs. Being a producer is no joke. And my life places me in very unstable territory. Everyone around me says I need a reality show. I’ve been pitched everything including a pageant show, and a dating show. No one can make up the stuff I go through in a day. Problem is I’m extremely private so I can’t see myself letting cameras into my home.
I read that your Grandmother has been a real inspiration to you in your life. What do you see in her that inspires you the most?
Everything. She is an angel. I can’t thank God enough for her. I have angels all around me and I believe I am truly a blessed child. My grandmother has always been my model for grace, elegance, class, beauty and intelligence, patience… I wish I had more of that. 
Any plans for another book? “Game, Get Some” must have been a fun book to write! Any quick tips you can share with the guys?
Yes! Invisible will be out 2011. It is a memoir about my life growing up with a undiagnosed mentally ill mother. It’s taking me years to write because it was so painful. But I’m very proud of my work as an author and my wish is that Invisible will inspire other young girls.

She is beautiful and for once a beautiful dark skin model getting praise without the usual "her bodies nice but face isn't". I think Kenya is the total package unlike Bria Myles who has the body but lacks the face.

I am a black guy. And I am as black as they come. Unlike black people like Michael Jackson and a lot of other black people that have issues with their complexion, I am comfortable in my blackness. I don't buy into that psychological crap that dark complexioned people are less good looking than light complexioned people. A BLACK WOMAN DOES NOT NEED CAUCASIAN FEATURES TO BE BEAUTIFUL .Mainstream media created this illusion that a black woman must conform to Caucasian beauty standards to be beautiful. In her prime supermodel Imam was labeled "a Caucasian woman dipped in chocolate". Its nice to see gorgeous black women like Kenya Moore and Bria Myles getting the attention they deserve, when Hollywood wont give them the light of day. My take on this debate of who is more beautiful is this: on a scale of 1-10 in the facial department, Kenya gets a perfect 10, and Bria an 8.5. In the body department Kenya gets a 7.5 , while Bria gets a perfect 10. Sure, Kenya is drop dead gorgeous, perfection and a goddess and all that! But I cant get over that rear photo of Bria in black lingerie, against a gray black background out of my mind. And her wide eyes, sexy lips, that nose and complexion is also perfect from where I stand. There are angles to Bria's beauty, while Kenya's is in your face. Bria needs to discover the best hair styles, wear light colored clothes that will flatter her features and complexion. Kenya, on the other hand, will look good in any hair style. Wearing black does not work out aesthetically for dark complexioned black people. And yes, I truly believe in my heart that Kenya is more beautiful than Halle Berry. Of the 3 beauties mentioned here, i would gladly choose Bria as a bed mate. While her face is so, so fresh and a huge turn on , I get an instant boner just thinking of her supremely curvy derriere- BOOTY as you Americans call it. LAWD! Thanks for the memory.
Interesting. You say you're comfortable with your blackness but being black isn't something to be comfortable with, it's something you love about yourself naturally. I'm black as well but there are times I wish I was a bit darker. I'm about a shade lighter than Kenya. The Blackman is the Original man. And the darker you are the closer to the Original man you are. Being black doesn't make you better than anyone of course, but it does make you special in that regard. I have recently gained an understanding that so called caucasian features such as straight noses, blue eyes and straight or blond hair cannot be solely attributed to Europeans. Many blacks are born with these features naturally so technically it's wrong to classify these features as caucasian. Iman is a good example, her features aren't caucasian her features are black because she is black.
