I got a chance to visit the Show studios this weekend and grab an advanced copy of Show #19 or SHOW East. A while back I got an email asking for some “curvy Asians”, well Show did one better and did a whole issue dedicated to the women of Asia and the Middle East. The three covers are Kim Lee, Jenny Chu and my pick Daphne Joy. Also featured are Nadia Dawn, Diana Ros, Natalin and many more. Since issue #8, Show has just keep getting better and this one is no exception. It hits stands by February 14 but the East Coast might see issues popping up as early as next week.
While I was there I got a chance to meet Vanessa Veasley and Diznee, who was shooting a feature for ShowGirlz Exclusives (Diznee has got a new hair color). All I gotta say is Vanessa’s quote about “looking like her pictures” was true for both her and Diznee. If anything they look better in person the way a woman with looks and charm does.
I said earlier that I hoped we’d see more of Daphne Joy this year, I just didn’t know it would be this soon and another cover.

Daphne is pretty I like her she’s doing her thing in ‘09, and Show is killing the game this year with Cubana on the last cover. Is it just me or are they dropping mags left and right now? But I definitely like the theme how their showing beauty in all different shades. I just hope they have a chocolate issue with all bad ass dark skin girls since they had the white issue and this Asian/Middle Eastern issue. Feb. would have been a banging month for a Chocolate Issue since its Black History Month. *Sigh* I swear I should start my own mag.
Anyway my only criticism about this issue is everyone knows the hottest Middle Eastern shorty is Sheryl K. why the fuck didn’t she get a cover or a spread? For that reason and that reason only I will only look at this issue in 7 eleven and wait for you Black to scan the best looking girls in this issue because my shorty Sheryk K. isn’t in it. Show needs to come to NY and shoot some of these bad ass models out here. Excuse my frustration I just would have luved to had seen a new Sheryl K. spread. Ever since that Red Cafe video I have been a big fan of hers.
lol i agree redz, i think the cubana lust issue was an attempt at a black issue but they need to do a dark chocolate rendition,, Cynietra would be a good look in there, that kind of complexion
I say 9 out of 10, the face is the only thing that throws her off in some of the photos..that body is damn near perfect though, well at least from those pics, she has just the right amount of proportions everywhere.

I agree with Redz 100% (you really should have your own mag, man.) Lanisha Cole should be in that dark issue IF THEY EVER THINK OF THAT. You just never see her.

I agree with Redz and chichay Show should have a dark chocolate issue and feature Jessica White, Lanisha Cole, Jeri J., Cynietra, Bria Myles, Angel Davis, Sky Walker, Zenobria, and Rabbit from Real Chance of Love. I would buy that but these Asian chicks aren’t thick enough for me in the hips. But with Show’s photoshopping I’m sure in this issue they all have asses 3 times as big as how they really are built in person.

Yes I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Black Jack last weekend which was a pleasant surprise! Daphne is hot, she is very unique…not your average woman. SHOW is also stepping their game up….the upcoming issues of SHOW feature some beautiful woman. Look out for Ms. Hailie which will be featured soon!!!!

I also dropped a line to Sean Cummings about an Asian themed issue and am happy to see it has become reality.
