Well I will say it Esther Baxter is back in the game and soon to be hitting magazines sooner than you think. For all you Philly heads she will be hosting with Gloria Valez at Club Solo tomorrow the 27th. Here is the flyer. Plus she’s got way more stuff coming out. I guess she’s back to reclaim her throne.

“Reclaim” who took it, lol. It is kind of like when a belt holder retires, someone has to earn the title, that has not happened since Esther departed. Alot of ladies have been in the spotlight for a moment or two but I don’t think any has reached the level of recognition that Esther had. (I could be a little biased, as far as beauty I really can’t find a flaw with Eshter B.)
Despite what anyone wants to believe or say about Angel she definitely had Esther’s crown in ‘07. Angel was EVERYWHERE and there is no denying that. Esther had it on lock all the way up until she retired. I’m not disputing Esther being the top, she is one the hottest in the game all NAT-UR-AL and shyt. But to me personally KD Aubert, Tomika Skanes, Dollicia, and Angel just have more exotic prettier faces. Esther’s still pretty don’t get me wrong, body wise Esther can definitely reign supreme in that category cause she’s natural so she got it.

Esther, I can’t wait to see her in print again. But, 2007 was Angel’s year and if Esther is going to take the crown back, she’s gotta bring something new to the table. Esther’s got the best body in biz but her modeling ain’t. She just doesn’t own the camera. To often she looks bored or blank. She’s pretty enough to get away with it but it doesn’t cut it to be legendary.
Angel, whether its causes she is hungry or just has it in her blood, is never off and always dominates the camera. Love or hate Angel, she brings the heat better than anyone since Melyssa Ford. Until Esther can do that, she’ll be playing second. Maybe she needs to hang with Tyra for a week?

I was really never feeling Esther. I always thought she was average looking. Ive known quite a few females with her type of body so I’m not really intrigued by her. Coming out of her retirement, I wish her good luck with all the prettier girls running around. Like Angel … *sigh*

It should be interesting, I think actually Esther coming back will help all the models, that way maybe we will not be saturated with the model of the moment. It would be nice to see alot of new models and some new shoots from established models.

Black its funny you talk about owning the camera I’d have to agree with you TOTALLY! Angel and Melyssa do command camera presence. Thinking back I was so engulfed with Esther’s body and shape when I looked back at her pics she really didn’t command camera presence like that. Like you said it was because she was so pretty she could get away with it. But I’d tell you who did back in the day but can’t compete with the oversized asses and breasts of today. This BX spicy latina name Erica Mena OMG that chick owned every shot she took, mami had a mean ass swagger in her pics, now she was a true pioneer of showing sex appeal in front of the camera. And this one girl I use to love back in high school name Pasha that was in the Nelly’s “Hot In Here” video. That shorty was BAD AS FUCK! now they were some bad ass chicks that did their thing in front of the camera.
