What?? “getting a person to cheat”… each and every one of us makes a choice.. and apparently that guys choice was to cheat on his wife! I’m not saying it’s okay (I’m married, myself) but it’s not Alicia’s fault. I’m sure that guy would be out runnin around with another girl if it wasn’t Alicia.

I’m sorry, but I’ve never bought into that whole celebrities/sports figures/etc. being role models.

Role models should be people you know and people who know you! People like teachers, your parents, mentors, etc.

I personally think cheating and getting a person to cheat is wrong. I’ve been on both ends and I didn’t cheat and I didn’t make some one cheat. So I guess it boils down to morals. What I said about cheating are my morals and I refuse to go back on them and cheat/getting some one to cheat. To me it’s disrespectful to MYSELF. I can say that I now view Alicia Keys in a different light and what a person does personally whether they’re a celebrity or not makes me view them positively or negatively. With that said, she use to be like a 9 or a 10 but now she’s a like a 5 1/2.

i’m goin w/ blakkjakk, and to your point anartist, you’re right the celebrities and artists today are DEFINITELY put and held in a spotlight thats huge and for everyone to see, therefore these young kids act that out. HOWEVER, in this context, we’re talkin about a. keys bein wit a married man. she doesn’t sing about this, or go around promotin that behavior in any way shape or form. like blakkjakk said, thats all her private life, and any point of view we have inside of it is pure voyeurism, bruh got it RIGHT on the dot there. again, where in alicia’s music is there a huge moral disconnect??? just about each one of her songs is about empowerment or loving someone deeply, soul connections etc all. its too bad that most human beings fall victim to fundamental attribution error and since they can’t understand something, they tend to label things and put them in categories (JUDGMENT) even if they know nothing about that person. i don’t see anyone gettin on beyonce, her music esp of late has become totally simple and dumbed down and sexed up, and here she is a married woman out there half naked damn near strippin, where are the pointed fingers for that? so is beyonce an adulteress?? food 4 thought y’all. but this ain’t lipstick alley
