I got a chance to visit the Show studios this weekend and grab an advanced copy of Show #19 or SHOW East. A while back I got an email asking for some “curvy Asians”, well Show did one better and did a whole issue dedicated to the women of Asia and the Middle East. The three covers are Kim Lee, Jenny Chu and my pick Daphne Joy. Also featured are Nadia Dawn, Diana Ros, Natalin and many more. Since issue #8, Show has just keep getting better and this one is no exception. It hits stands by February 14 but the East Coast might see issues popping up as early as next week.
While I was there I got a chance to meet Vanessa Veasley and Diznee, who was shooting a feature for ShowGirlz Exclusives (Diznee has got a new hair color). All I gotta say is Vanessa’s quote about “looking like her pictures” was true for both her and Diznee. If anything they look better in person the way a woman with looks and charm does.
I said earlier that I hoped we’d see more of Daphne Joy this year, I just didn’t know it would be this soon and another cover.

Anyone thinking Vanessa Veasley is just doing the music thing simply don’t know. Aside from being the managing editor at Show Vanessa has been doing mainstream modeling for ten years and getting paid by Macy’s, Walmart, etc. Even though videos don’t pay as much as regular modeling, she has got music in her blood, her father is the world renowned jazzman Gerald Veasley, and a passion for acting. Vanessa doesn’t play around either, this quote is priceless…
Promoters pay big bucks to video vixens that don’t have cellulite and actually look like their pictures. You can qoute me on that shit!

October I didn’t drop a lot and got caught up in other things. So this Jesikah Maximus shot got lost in the mix. Digging around for my next drop and I grabbed this and thought, “why didn’t I do this?!?” No answer. Just didn’t.

…When I left the airport it was 3:30 in the morning. It was a one-hour and 40-minute drive in a small minivan through the dark countryside stroked by just a hint of moonlight. While the driver stayed the course and my manager slept, I gazed into the distance and saw a vision of my future…let’s just say that this lil’ girl from Tustin had better start getting used to those big Hollywood lights! If you don’t know who Havanna Garcia aka Cubana Lust is then your internet must be unplugged. Her booty clap was felt around the world. If you are one of the few that haven’t seen her shake’n it, check out these videos. A couple million clicks on WSHH later and now this honey is taking on print. Angel Davis is fresh face out of New Orleans. I won’t front, I got almost no details. Just liked her shots and dropping them. Angel is not the fitness Angel Davis. Beyond that I got a quote and a MySpace link. If anyone has got more details feel free to hit me with them.

Its good to see another mag out there taken on the spot that SSX has held for so long.
